Ohio has one of the most lenient constitutional amendment processes in the country. Currently, only 50%+1 by the general public is required to pass an amendment.
The problem? Leftist groups like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood are funneling millions of dollars into Ohio to enshrine their radical agenda in the state constitution and ultimately steamrolling the true values of Ohio.
At this moment, Planned Parenthood is trying to insert constitutional amendments that would exclude parents from their child’s major health decisions - like obtaining an abortion or performing life-changing “transgender” surgery.
And they’re using deceptive advertising and fraudulent means of collecting signatures to get their amendments on the ballot.
We here at CatholicVote have our boots on the ground in Ohio and are doing everything we can to stop them. The best way to save another state from abortion-without-limits? Defend the state’s constitution.
On August 8, Ohio will hold a special election on raising the threshold for a constitutional amendment from 50%+1 to 60%. Raising the threshold will make it much harder for radical out-of-state groups to hijack the state constitution.
